As of this writing (July, 2022), I've been a Lead Software Engineer at PayPal for just over 8 years. Currently on the Web Platform team, curating the developer experience with a recent focus on developer workflows to take advantage of our Edge and CDN networks. I've worked on the CDN / edge and mobile experience, node framework team, back-end payments, and a couple of product teams here. It's been a wonderful ride. Before that I worked in the defense industry and NASA before that. I hold a top secret (SCI) clearance.
Outside of work I like to code on open source (github.com/shaunwarman), climb and drink a lot of coffee. But, most importantly, enjoy time with my wife, Ana, and Vizsla Albus here in Austin, TX.
